Hello everyone! I'd like to share a special trip I took. Last Sunday, I visited Longhu Ancient Village in Chaozhou with my parents. We drove there and arrived after about an hour of traveling through beautiful countryside.
A knowledgeable guide welcomed us and showed us around the ancient houses. Each building told a unique story about the village's rich history and traditional architecture. The guide explained how these structures had been preserved for generations.
At noon, we had the most delicious local food experience. We tried famous Chaoshan beef balls and various traditional snacks. The flavors were absolutely amazing and so authentic that I ate much more than I usually do. The local cuisine was definitely a highlight of our trip.
In the afternoon, we took a leisurely walk through the charming old streets, admiring the traditional architecture. Then we watched an amazing Chaozhou opera performance that completely took my breath away. The colorful costumes, beautiful music, and skilled performances were truly captivating.
This trip was truly special and memorable. It not only helped me learn about Chaozhou's rich history and cultural heritage but also allowed me to experience the peaceful countryside life. I'm so grateful for this wonderful journey with my parents. Thank you for listening to my story!
