Welcome to our Health Problems vocabulary lesson! Today we're going to learn important words about feeling sick, how to use grammar correctly, and practice with fun exercises. Let's start our learning adventure!
Let's learn the basic health problems vocabulary. We have headache when our head hurts, stomachache when our stomach hurts, toothache when our teeth hurt, fever when our body is hot, cold when we feel sick and sneeze, cough when we make sounds from our throat, sore throat when our throat hurts, and earache when our ears hurt.
Now let's practice pronunciation together. Listen to each word carefully. First we have headache - HEAD-ACHE. Next is stomachache - STOM-ACH-ACHE. Then toothache - TOOTH-ACHE. Fever - FE-VER. Cold - COLD. And cough - COUGH. Practice saying each word slowly and clearly.
Now let's learn the grammar structure for health problems. We use HAVE with I, you, we, and they. We use HAS with he, she, and it. For example: I have a headache. She has a fever. We have colds. Remember this important rule for correct English grammar.
Now let's practice making sentences! Look at each picture and complete the sentence. The boy has a headache. The girl has a fever. The children have colds. The teacher has a sore throat. Remember to use has with he, she, and it, and have with I, you, we, and they.
